HF Environmental exists to unlock those solutions.
We are growing out of a family-run business rooted in more than 50 years of stewardship on the western Isle of Wight and decades of professional experience across the land sector.
We have farmed and managed protected landscapes, structured and delivered environmental infrastructure for institutional investors, and built an accredited biodiversity net gain scheme on our own land. That combination is what we bring to our partners: technical expertise, pragmatic thinking and the patience to see things through.
We believe some of the greatest things about England – its landscapes, farmland, wildlife and rural communities – are worth preserving. These places carry history, identity and livelihoods shaped over generations, and the responsibility to protect and strengthen them matters deeply to us.
Our Vision
An England where nature recovery is delivered with the same rigour, credibility and long-term commitment we expect of any other critical infrastructure.
Restoring it is both an urgent challenge and a responsibility that will outlast all of us, and we want the schemes we help build to be worthy of the name ‘natural infrastructure’.
